Shelter Pet Alliance is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to assist animal shelters throughout the United States by:

• Promoting adoptions of sheltered dogs and cats through community adoption events and publicity campaigns.
   

• Improving the quality of life of sheltered animals.
   

• Providing financial and other assistance to animal shelters to renovate, repair, or build facilities that ensure humane housing conditions.
   

• Providing financial or other assistance to ensure that animals in need receive adequate veterinary care.
   

• Promoting public awareness of sheltered animals and encouraging volunteerism.
